My visit to Argentina turned out to be a bonanza of cultural, food and festivities. The very first destination of ours, Buenos Aires, was just a fabulous place for starting the vacations. The city seems to be full of life, fun, style, and elegance. As we had done a thorough research, we had already booked an apartment there. It was right in the middle of the town and was laced with all possible facilities. The food and hospitality of the people of Argentina are commendable. Our next day’s journey to Tiger Delta was an experience in itself and fun of kayaking there made it all the more enjoyable.

As we had kept our next day free, we decided to explore the market. Shopping in Argentina Travel and Tourism Guide: Girl in Traditional Dress and Hat Argentina was also good fun and good bargain as Dollar and Peso have a vast different in value. One can find all branded stores in the market and prices of the imported stuff were also very reasonable. The shopping galleries on the road sides are full of local artifacts reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Argentina. I could pick up a few good leather bags in Buenos Aires. After getting over of our shopping spree, I daunted to try out some tango steps, as I will not get this opportunity anywhere again. The people, mostly tourists, were full of energy and excitement and were dancing as if no one was watching them. Memories of the Tango night will always remain fresh.

Tierra del Fuego in Ushuaia is just unbelievable. We decided to go by bus and lost ourselves in the beautiful scenery and the icebergs. This is where we witnessed sea, ranges of Andes mountain, glaciers, and forest all in one place.

The next and the last destination of our short trip in Argentina was Glaciers of Patagonia. The Perito Moreno and the Upsala glaciers are so impressive that they attract maximum number of visitors traveling in Argentina. To attract and accommodate more tourists, a proper holiday village has come up there.

And how can we forget Argentineans, their love and hospitality that they extended towards us. They tried to help us and guide us, even if we were speaking different languages.

I think you should inform readers abit about Mar del Plata also. I my opinion this is the best place for tourism in Argentina. There’s the aquarium, the casino, the automobile museum, great hotels… not to forget superb beaches! I really enjoyed my visit to Mar del Plata. Here’s a few snaps. I’m a regular visitor here, and I hope to read a blog post about it under your Argentina category very soon.

These places looked just amazing and we decided to visit Argentina to see these impressive sceneries with our own eyes. But it is not only the impressive scenery that we have seen. I have seen Perito Moreno glacier and I couldn’t take my eyes off it for half a day. It is definitely a must see attraction in Argentina.
