Here I viewed the many cultured pearls being presented for sale and selected not only a set of Majorcan pearls but also some fine needlework for the wife.I found that not all the bargains are to be found in the upper class shops as there are an range of local flea markets in Majorca, all selling items ranging from food to arts and crafts. These Majorcan bazaars offer the browser both household wares as well as the farm fresh fruit, vegetables, and meats. Saturday morning is by tradition the market day at Avenida Alomar y Villalonga.
